All parents have a strategy to raise their children … teaching values, kindergarten, elementary school, sports, music, middle school, clubs, high school, and so on. Then they leave home. Even grandparenting is programmed. But, what about the interval between parenting and grandparenting?

Few parents have a strategy for adult children. Why? Because the interval between parenting and grandparenting used to be much shorter. Children got married after college and grew families. Now, adulthood has been pushed to almost 30 years of age because of the Syndrome of Emerging Adulthood.
